Check out the Wrenchers Tool Chests, these are awesome, handmade in San Jose California by a carpenter

Building the best tool chests possible that can be handed down as a family heirloom, Michael Genovese has improved on the tool chest, and improvised a brilliant drawer handle idea, rocker arms and trunk handles!

He realized that he could use his fine woodworking skills to build himself a rollaway tool chest to store his mechanics tools. That was the start of what is now Wrenchers Tool Chest.

Using only the finest of materials in the construction of these tool chests, each one is custom built by hand. They are stained and sprayed with multiple coats of a satin clear acrylic urethane to give a rich look with a hard finish.

Mulitple sizes and priced accordingly from $800 to $4000, 18" high to 60" high

The SG rat rod. They might consider calling it the Eye Magnet, it drew a constant big crowd

Yes, that fat bastard is leaning heavily on the car. I have no idea what makes anyone think they are welcome to do that.

I like the pistol holster, nice touch

No, I don't know why this is right hand drive
Cool steering wheel

Diplock's Pedrail. What a name! Somebody should call their band this name.

If it had caught on, we'd still know about it, but it is a interesting idea for rough terrain, maybe rocky terrain. Reminds me immediately of these other two unusual ideas in rim/wheel design http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2011/03/justacargal-found-most-unusual.html

Crazy fixes to car problems.. .some of these even impress me with their possible efficient overcoming of challenges the cheap way

Gotta be a heavy beast, but have you ever seen a rebar bike?

This is actually not the first wacko who is deathly afraid of his car getting door dinged I've seen, I posted a photo a couple years ago of a car I parked next to with swimming pool float tubes draped down the sides of his Crown Vic

Not the first time a pair of lifts were needed to reach something, and made it into the safety meeting photos of what not to do at work

Something the cassette player is useful for!

Why not? Everyone has used a wrench to beat on something at one point

I like this.... good use for a drill

This ought to worry anyone looking at it, it's innovative, but really unsafe looking

Smart!

Innovative if one wiper arm is broken

Frankenburban. Jo Schmo (great moniker) let me know about a feature photo of the FrankenBurban http://dailyderbi.com/tuning-gone-wrong-when-4-wheels-isnt-enough-edition/
Thanks Jo! Add a profile to your Google or Blogger Profile page so people like me can email you a thank you!

Brilliant, immediate unstoppable traction in mud, also known as good horse sense, and farmer magic

Now this, in my opinion, is effing brilliant. It really no-shit works, and like nothing else possibly could to add traction that can't be stopped.

Found in the first car of some young highschooler I bet... old cars didn't have cup holders I'm thinking... I never had anything made from 1973 to 1989, so I don't know. They aren't in my zone of interest.

I'm betting someone ends up in the emergency room

Sheesh these are lazy kids, is there anyone reading this that didn't put in years mowing lawns as a kid, before riding lawnmovers, self-propelled lawnmovers, and you think these kids could really use some time pushing a lawnmower?
